Lacquer_licious (Guest Post)

Hi lovelies! Today's guest post is from the lovely Louvaine - @lacquer_licious over on Instagram. I've admired her nails for so long and was super excited when she agreed to post for me - let's see what she came up with! As always, read on for more info!

Hello! My name is Louvaine, I'm a mum of 5 and a nail art lover and today I'm proud to be a guest blogger for the fabulous Becca!

For this blog post I wanted to try something new and decided to use some cute little Christmas tree charms that I bought from she-sells-seashells.co.uk. I've never used nail charms before!

So, to go with the cute gold charm I picked out 2 very Christmassy China Glaze polishes named Mingle with Kringle and Just Be-Claws. They are both perfect for a Christmas mani!

I gathered together everything I needed and I painted my nails alternate colours and then the postman came bringing nail mail in the form of a cute Christmas stamping plate by Messy Mansion from nail-artisan.co.uk.

I thought it would add something extra to my mani so I stamped the negative space image to some of the nails. I used black stamping polish from Mundo de Unas and a jumbo sticky stamper from Über Chic Beauty.

I added the tree to my ring finger, using nail glue to hold it in place and topped everything off with a coat of my favourite fast drying top coat, HK Girl by Glisten and Glow.

I love how the colours shine through the black! I think I may matte topcoat it tomorrow to see how it looks. Do you have a favourite Matte topcoat? Let me know!

Thanks for having me xxx

How gorgeous are these?! Thank you Louvaine, and in answer to your question - I use Barry M matte topcoat! If you haven't yet check Louvaine out over on Instagram here!

Hope to see you in the next post!
