Nail Art Catch Up - March 2022

Hello everyone! For todays post I have my nail art catch up for the month of March. I've said it a few times now, but I feel like I've been on a roll recently - so even though I've already shared 9 different manis for the Glam Nails nail art challenge (read that post here), I still have another 8 to share with you. Let's dive straight in!

Nail Art Catch Up - March 2022 @acertainbeccaa

First up is some super simple nautical stamping. I opted for blue stamping to match some of the glitters in the base crelly, Bright & Polished 'Set A Course'. The images are from Lina Nail Art Supplies Born To Sail plates 01 and 02, and UberChic Beauty plate 2-03.

Next is a mani inspired by The Very Hungry Caterpillar. When browsing the recent Clear Jelly Stamper UK sale, I came across the Baby Bugs & Bees plate (CJS-10), and instantly knew I wanted to do these nails. I stamped the caterpillar image across my four nails, over China Glaze 'This Is Ranunculous!'.

Next up is a Twinsie Tuesday mani created with my best friend Kirsty from FairyTales Nails. We have recently decided to bring twin manis back, and plan to do one together every other Tuesday. For our first mani, we started off with an ode to how we met - nails! We stamped over Barry M 'Sour Candy' using various images from the UberChic Beauty Nail Polish Is Life plate. You can check out Kirsty's mani in full here.

Next is a mani created for one of the polishes from the recent Shrek themed UK Indie Box. Opulent Essences was inspired by Puss in Boots and created 'He's Been A Bad Kitty' - so of course I had to do some Puss in Boots nails! I used various images from MoYou London plate Shrek 07.

Next up is my St Patrick's Day mani. While I don't celebrate the day myself, I couldn't resist the cute Good Luck Bear on MoYou London Care Bears Classic plate 02. I paired him with some small shamrocks from Lina Nail Art Supplies plate Make Your Mark 04 and Butterfly Polish 'We Come In Peace' from Polish Con UK.

This next one is a mani that was sat in my unposted folder for far too long! I used BBF Nails Lilo & Stitch themed plate BBF 77 to create these Lilo inspired nails. The base red is Barry M gelly 'Hot Chilli'.

Next is the second twin mani me and Kirsty (FairyTales Nails) created. This time we centered our nails around Winnie The Pooh and his squad (#squadgoals) using the Mundo De Unas plate Winnie The Pooh 2. I created my base gradient using Pretty Serious 'Little Duckling' and 'Bitsy Boo', and Models Own 'Cosy Posy'. You can find Kirsty's full mani here.

Last up for todays post is an abstract floral design. I originally intended to post these for the first prompt of April's Glam Nails Challenge, which was floral, but it came out a lot more abstract than I'd intended. I stamped one of the layered flower images from Clear Jelly Stamper plate Full On Floral (CJS LC-17) over Lollipop Posse Lacquer (now Garden Path Lacquer) 'Boys Can't Be Men'.

What do you think? Which mani is your favourite from this bunch? I'm not sure I can decide! I've been creating just as much nail art this month, with lots of springy and Easter inspired designs. I've also been taking part in the Glam Nails Challenge again this month, so keep an eye out for that roundup post after the last prompt on the 27th!

Hope to see you in the next post!
Becca x
