A Certain Becca Nails: Swatch Catch Up

Hi lovelies! Today I have my February swatch catch up post for you, sharing all of those polishes I swatched and posted on Instagram last month, but have yet to share on here. Whereas last month I only had three swatches to show you (see that post here), today I have seven - most of which are crellies! Read on for my full swatches and more info.

Swatch Catch Up - February 2022 @acertainbeccaa

Rogue Lacquer 'You Sleigh Me' is described as a 'christmas tree green with red metallic flakes'. While this is definitely a very Christmassy colour combination, I think you could get away with it whenever - and I absolutely adore the strong contrast between the flakes and the base. Below is three coats with topcoat.

Painted Polish 'Jammin' in Jellies' is a hot pink jelly base with pink to yellow to orange shifting iridescent flakes. This was a Polish Pick Up shade, and I believe was inspired by jelly shoes, but I picked it up in a destash. Below is three coats with topcoat.

ORLY 'Red Carpet' is a classic red base with a subtle sprinkling of fine glitter. I recently bought an ORLY mystery bundle from Hollywood Nails Supply, and this was one of the polishes I received. Below is three coats with topcoat.

Rogue Lacquer 'Frosted Flakes' is described as a 'petrol blue squishy crelly with platinum silver metallic flakes'. Another gorgeous flakie crelly from Rogue! This one was a bit thicker than my other Rogue polishes, but it was still smooth to apply. Below is two coats with topcoat.

Nail Artisan Cosmetics 'I am a Stallion Baby!' is a thermal grey to nude base with black, gold, and copper flakes. This was Nail Artisan's contribution to the most recent UK Indie Box. The theme was Shrek, so Alex took inspiration from Donkey. All photos below show three coats with topcoat. Here it is in transition.

Dollish Polish 'Berrylicious' is a coral crelly with various colours of microglitter and metallic flakes. This was another PPU polish that I picked up in a destash. I think it was inspired by Strawberry Shortcake. I was impressed that this was fully opaque in two coats without being thick. Below is two coats with topcoat.

Bright & Polished 'Set A Course' is a grey base with black, white, and blue glitters. This was a Polish Con UK exclusive last year for the Out of This World theme. This is my first and only polish from Bright & Polished, and I'll definitely be getting my hands on some more. I normally do three coats for lighter crellies, but this was perfect in two. Below is two coats with topcoat.

What do you think of my February wears? I've definitely been in a crelly mood recently! My first polish for March was yet another glitter crelly, so I have a feeling you'll be seeing a few more next month too. Some of these were worn alone, and some with nail art, but I enjoyed them all.
