Halloween Nails with Nailpad (& Essie)

*AD - Gifted*
Hello! Today I have something a bit different to share with you - the Nailpad. The Nailpad is a portable nail polish station/holder which provides a flat and stable surface to ensure an easy and smooth nail polish application every time, 'solving a variety of at home and on-the-go nail painting dilemmas'. It is available in two colours, and also in a choice of kits with either an Essie or Piggy Paint polish. I was kindly sent the black nailpad and Essie 'Licorice', which I've used to create a mani perfect for Halloween. This post is a bit picture heavy, so lets get stuck in!

The Nailpad folds in half, which not only makes it easier and more compact store, but means you can also still use it if you have limited space. On one side it has a small nail polish holder to sit your polish into, helping to avoid unwanted spills and toppled bottles. I'll actually find the holder aspect handy for nail art, I always grab for a brush/cap and accidentally knock polishes.

Once unfolded, the Nailpad has both the holder on one side, and a space for you to rest your hand or even foot for painting. There is also a fold out fin on the underside to help prop it up if wanted or needed for balance.

Here's a quick look at the back of the box, as it shows a couple of different positions in which the Nailpad can be used. I think the idea of sliding the fin in between your legs to hold it on your lap is so clever!

As mentioned, I recieved the kit including Essie 'Licorice', so couldn't resist using it to create a Halloween mani. 'Licorice' is Essie's answer to black polish, shown below in two coats with a topcoat.

I decided to go for a bit of a mix and match of Halloween images, with spiders, pumpkins, witches hats, and bats.

What do you think? Is this something you'd use? I definitely could have used this a few years back when I painted my nails on the sofa and did indeed have a balanced bottle of polish somewhere waiting to be spilt. I actually spilt a bright purple polish down my mums green sofa back in the day - sorry mum! Even now with my own designated space for nails, this will come in super handy as it provides a safer space for open bottles.

Each Nailpad retails for £12.95 and is available to buy in both black and pink here. You can also find various gift sets available with both Essie and Piggy Paint polishes.
