ÜNT Cosmetics - Sun Envy Polishes (& Nail Art)

*AD - Gifted*
Hello lovelies! Today I'm back with more polishes from ÜNT Cosmetics' Sun Envy line. If you missed my first impression of the gel effect Sun Envy polishes, you can find that post here. This time around, I have seven polishes from the core classic colours collection. Read on for my swatches, more info, and nail art - it's a long one so let's get stuck in!

Before I get into the individual swatches, I'll quickly address the formula. I find the Sun Envy polishes have smooth, easy to apply formulas. They dry down really quickly and to a lovely glossy finish, although I do still recommend topcoating.

'Perfect Mask' (SE045) is a clear-based polish packed full of super sparkly shimmer. This can be either worn alone or as a topper. I decided to see how well it would build up alone on my nails. I don't think it would ever be fully opaque on me, but sometimes I don't mind that, and it is super pretty! Below is three coats with topcoat.

I went for a unicorn themed mani for this one. It didn't come out quite as I had imagined, but here it is! I used UberChic Beauty plate Unicorn Love for all of the images, and a range of stamping polishes (mostly from Painted Polish).

'Sunbathing' (SE025) is a soft yellow creme. This one does have a typical pastel yellow formula, and starts off quite streaky. I did thin coats and ended up adding a quick fourth as I had a few minor streaks left and was feeling picky. You could definitely get away with three thicker coats. Below is four thin coats with topcoat.

I couldn't resist using this to create a mani to match some Lion King tops that both me and my little boy have (I posted us wearing them together on my Instagram recently, and I loved it!). I stamped using images from the Mundo De Unas Lion King plate.

'Petals & Thorns' (SE010) is a soft pink creme. I had a few minor streaks on one or two nails after two coats, so added a third. Below is three coats with topcoat.

I decided to create a gradient using this and the next two polishes ('Self Hashtag' & 'The Beautiful Mistake'). I added a coat of China Glaze 'Fairy Dust' for a bit of sparkle, and then ended up leaving it there. I had intended to stamp over the top, but I thought it was pretty as it was!

'Self Hashtag' (SE015) is a slightly mauvier dusty pink creme. Similar to 'Petals & Thorns', this will either be a two or three coater depending on your application. I had subtle streaks on one or two nails, so added a third coat to even everything out fully. Below is three coats with topcoat.

I used this a base for a mushroom/toadstool themed mani. I used UberChic Beauty plates Fairytale-01 and Fairytale-02, Born Pretty Store plate BP-l105, and Painted Polish 'Stamped in Crimson'.

'The Beautiful Mistake' (SE020) is a deep red creme. Below is two coats with topcoat.

For this one, I felt like going for something sparkly. On my ring finger, I applied two coats of Painted Polish holographic silver microglitter 'Drunk on Holo'. I used the same polish to sponge on a glitter gradient on all of my other nails.

I did initially do this mani with a coat of 'Perfect Mask' before sponging on the glitter. While I did like it, I felt it made the glitter harder to see. I think it looks a bit clearer without it. Which way do you prefer?

'You May Kiss My Soul' (SE035) is a bright blue creme. This is another one that I found needed a third coat on one or two nails to even out some subtle streaks. Below is three coats with topcoat.

I used this in the mani I did to celebrate my little boy's 1st Birthday. I stamped Mickey Mouse faces from My Online Shop plate JR-27 onto my pointer and pinky nails. I then used images from UberChic Beauy plates Little Baby and Party Time to add a cupcake and some writing to my middle nails.

'7°C' (SE040) is a soft periwinkle creme. Below is three coats with topcoat.

This colour is absolutely gorgeous, so I wanted to stick to something quite simple. I stamped silver stars using a pattern from MoYou London plate Circus 02 and Barry M Silver Foil.

What do you think? Which of these colours jump out to you? I'm impressed again with the lovely smooth formulas of all seven of these polishes, and I always love a good creme for nail art.

You can find all of the polishes mentioned, along with others, on the ÜNT Cosmetics website here.

Hope to see you in the next post!
