Sleepover Indie Box

Hello! Today I have a look at the most recent indie box put together by Hayley from Danglefoot Nail Polish. This time around the box was a mystery. All we knew was that it was sleepover themed and included polishes from Danglefoot Nail Polish, Sparklea Nail Polish, Ms. Sparkle, and an extra goody from Opulent Essences. First up is Sparklea Nail Polish 'Truth or Dare?', a burnt pink ultra holographic. This is a very unique colour and I can't say I have anything else like it. It has a smooth, easy to apply formula. It is a bit sheer on the first coat, but covers completely after a second. Below is two coats with topcoat.

Next is Ms. Sparkle 'Are You Afraid of the Dark?', a deep orangey red base with a bright pink shimmer and tiny gold and pink flakes. The formula is smooth and easy to apply. It starts off a bit sheer and streaky at first, but builds up well. This could easily be a two coater, but I added a third to build depth and make sure it covered completely evenly. Below is three coats with topcoat.

Last polishes is Danglefoot Nail Polish 'Pyjama Party', a grey to purple thermal with a bright green shimmer. It has a smooth and easy to apply formula, and is opaque after two coats. If you catch it in the right moment while transitioning, this almost looks turns a blue colour. All pictures below show two coats with topcoat.

Our extra from Opulent Essences is a shea butter lip scrub. I love Sharon's scrubs, so I was happy to see this. It's also a really generous size, the 25g will last me a very long time.

What do you think? Another fab indie box! If you read my blog regularly, you'll know that these are some of my favourite brands - with the exception of Ms. Sparkle which is a new brand for me (that I've wanted to try for a long time!). Unfortunately these boxes are sold on a preorder basis, and are no longer available. Hayley does tend to organise a few boxes a year though, so keep an eye out for the next one!
