Mani and Lola - March 2018

Hello! Today I have the March 2018 Mani and Lola box to share. If you missed the February edit, you can find my unboxing and swatches here. March's box was curated as a Mother's Day special and has a lovely Springy feel to it, as well as two free gifts from the Mani and Lola team. Read on for my full swatches and a look at everything we recieved!

Starting off the polishes is Cuccio 'Quick as a Bunny', a light grey creme. The formula is smooth and easy to apply. Being a lighter pastel shade, this does start off slightly streaky. I did need a third coat to cover some minor streaks, although if applied more carefully, I may have been fine with two. Below is three coats with topcoat.

Next is China Glaze 'Pretty Fit', a dusty rose pink creme from the recent Chic Physique collection. The formula is nice and easy to apply. I found I got a lot of polish on the brush so did wipe some off to avoid flooding my nails. This is slightly streaky on the first coat, but evens out with a second. It also self levels really nicely. Below is two coats with topcoat.

Next is ORLY Breathable 'Sheer Luck', a soft pale pink with tiny gold glitters/shimmers. I have a good amount of ORLY's but this is my first one from the Breathable line. The formula is smooth and easy to apply. It starts off a bit sheer and streaky due to the pale colour, but builds up nicely. Below is three coats with topcoat.

Finally, we have a bottle of OPI 'Toucan Do it if You Try', a bright coral orange creme. I've wanted this polish for the longest time and never bought it, so I was super happy to see it in my box. The formula is super smooth and easy to apply. It has good coverage on the first coat, but does need a second to even out some lighter streaks. Below is two coats with topcoat.

First up for nail care is a bottle of Essie's Apricot Cuticle Peel. Now if I'm honest, I don't do a massive amount to my cuticles. I keep them moisturised and use hand creams and scrubs, but I don't use cuticle removers or push them back at all. Having said that, I will still give this is a go. I like the idea of the added apricot oil, and it seems like quite a generous sized bottle too!

Next is a 50ml tube of OPI Avoplex Hand & Nail Cream. I can never have enough hand creams so I was happy to see this. One of my go to hand scrubs is an OPI Avoplec one, so if this is anywhere near as good as that then I'll love it!

As mentioned, Mani and Lola added in a couple of extra goodies this month. We recieved a small bottle of OPI Avojuice lotion (mine is Coconut Melon scented) and a super cute pad of Mani and Lola post-it notes. I'll definitely happily use both!

What do you think? Again, I'm super impressed and happy with the contents of the box. All of the brands this month are ones I know and love, and I'll get use out of every item. My favourite for March has to be OPI's 'Toucan Do it if You Try' - it's exactly what I hoped it would be!

Hope to see you in the next post!
