Sweet Treats Indie Box

Hello! Today I have the most recent UK Indie Box to share. This time around Lea from Sparklea Nail Polish hosted the box, while Hayley over at Danglefoot Nail Polish is busy with her newborn. The two brands both contributed a polish each, and were joined by Sarah from Wikkid Polish. Also in the box were some sweeties (of course!), and a sachet of bath salts from Twa Burds Soaps.

Sparklea Nail Polish 'Grape Crush Jelly Bean' is a purple base packed full of gold shimmer and gold flakes. The formula is smooth and easy to apply. This is just slightly patchy on the first coat, so I did need a second to bring it fully opaque. The shimmer in this translates onto the nail so strongly. Below is two coats with topcoat.

Danglefoot Nail Polish 'Pic 'N' Mix Queen', a light to dark pink thermal with metallic blue flakes, purple glitters, pink shimmer, and subtle scattered holographic. This has a lovely smooth formula. It was transitioning as I applied it, so I did three coats to make sure both states would be opaque. Below is three coats with topcoat during transition.

Here it is in the full warm state:

Wikkid Polish 'Slush Puppie' is a blue jelly base packed full of shredded holographic glitter. This is easy to apply considering how dense the glitters are. It built up to a nice coverage after two coats, although I did add a third to cover same bald spots. The glitters do dry a bit textured, so you may need two coats of topcoat. Below is three coats with topcoat.

As mentioned, all boxes also included a sachet of bath salts from Glasgow based soap company, Twa Burds Soaps. I believe there were four different scents randomly placed into the box. I have the Parma Violet scent which smells amazing!

What do you think? I absolutely loved the theme of the box this time round! I have quite the sweet tooth myself, and really enjoy the fun polish colours and finishes. 'Slush Puppie' is actually my first Wikkid Polish too, so I've really enjoyed trying another UK indie brand. Fingers crossed for another box before the end of the year!

Hope to see you in the next post!
