Beau Polish - Zion Collection

*AD - Gifted*
Hi lovelies! Today I'm back with the new Zion Collection from UK indie Beau Polish. The 5 polishes I have to share with you all have a holographic element to them, so are all super sparkly. I've also done a bit of nail art with each polish. Read on for my full swatches, nail art, and more info!

As always, before I get into the individual swatches, I'll get into the formula here. As with all previous polishes I've used from Beau, I found the formulas smooth and easy to apply. The opacity of the shades varied, so I'll mention that with my swatches below. Each Beau Polish comes with a colour-coordinated bow attached to the lid. These are intended to be removed before polishes, but I like to keep mine on! Let's get into the swatches.

'Opa-lease' is a soft off-white/grey with subtle scattered holographic. Being a more delicate colour, this does start off on the sheer side, though it builds up nicely. Below is three coats with topcoat.

For my nail art, I stamped lemons using the layered image on Born Pretty Store plate Tropical Punch L004.

'All Sapphired Up' is a bright yellow base with scattered holographic and green flakes. Again, this one is a little bit sheer at first but builds up nicely. Below is three coats with topcoat.

The combination of the yellow with the green flakes instantly made me think of pineapples, so I used that as the inspiration for my nail art. I stamped the pineapple image from Born Pretty plate BP-L076, and coloured the fruit in using 'All Sapphired Up'.

'I Rhoda-mean What I Say' is a pinky/red base scattered holographic and microglitter. This is the colour of Rhodamine Red, which I personally see as more of a pink. As it has microglitters in, it does have a slight texture, but this is easily smoothed out with topcoat. Below is two coats with topcoat.

Being pink and sparkly, I couldn't resist using this one as a base for a unicorn mani. I used several stamping polishes and a variety of images from the UberChic Beauty Unicorn Love plate. I coloured in the larger unicorn image using 'Opa-lease'.

'Andromeda Nebula' is a rich, dark green with scattered holographic. This one was pretty much opaque in two coats, although I did a third just to be on the safe side. Below is three coats with topcoat.

I wanted to add a pop of colour to contrast the darker base. I added bright red flowers using Esmaltes Da Kelly 'Ulli' and UberChic Beauty plate 23-01.

'Galax-see You Later!' is a dark blue base with scattered holographic and holographic flakes. It benefitted from a third coat on my nails to deepen the colour to match the bottle. Below is three coats with topcoat.

This is the perfect night sky/galaxy colour, so I stuck to that theme for my nail art. I stamped silver stars over each nail, and then accented with some gold detailing, including the 'I believe in magic' wording. All images used are from the UberChic Beauty Unicorn Love plate.

What do you think? Are you a fan of holographic polishes? I'll always love a holographic, and I like how each of these are subtly different from each other with the additions of different flakes and glitters. My personal favourite is 'All Sapphired Up' - I just love a good yellow!

You can find all 5 polishes mentioned, along with lots of others, on the Beau Polish website here.

Hope to see you in the next post!
