Korres Gel Effect 'Berry Addict' & 'Watermelon'

*Press Sample*
Hello! Today I have two polishes to share with you from new to me brand Korres. I always love finding and trying out new brands, so was excited to give these a go. Both polishes are gel effect, claiming to last up to 10 days with a long-lasting gloss shine. Read on for my full swatches, and a gradient mani!

'Berry Addict' is a rich berry creme. The formula is super smooth and easy to apply. The first coat is slightly on the patchy side, so it does need a second to even it out completely. The second coat also deepens the colour to match the bottle. Below is two coats with topcoat.

'Watermelon' is a saturated pink creme. Again, the formula is super smooth and easy to apply. This one is a bit more sheer to begin with, though it does cover evenly. It also builds up to full opacity with a second coat. Below is two coats with topcoat.

I thought that both shades would gradient perfectly together, so I decided to try it out. I started with a base of 'Watermelon', and then sponged on both colours until they blended nicely. To jazz it up a bit, I added a coat of China Glaze 'Fairy Dust' over the top.

What do you think? Both are classic colours so I don't think you could go wrong with either. I love pinks like 'Watermelon' all year round, and berry tones like 'Berry Addict' are perfect for the colder months. They also applied very easily, helped by the great formulas and flat wide brushes. I'd definitely like to try some more from the brand in the future!

You can find a wide range of Korres products on the Look Fantastic website here. Each 11ml polish retails for £8.

Hope to see you in the next post!
