June MeeBox - Wild Thing

Hello! Today I have my unboxing and swatches for June's MeeBox. If you missed my thoughts on May's 'Chelsea Flower Show' box, you can find that post here. The theme for June was 'Wild Thing', and was also an indie takeover - which always goes down well! I love a good animal print mani so this theme was totally my style. Read on for my full swatches and a look at everything inside!

First up for polishes is Wikkid Polish 'Forest', a rich, deep green with a lighter green shimmer. The formula is very smooth and easy to apply. This has great coverage in just one coat, though I did need a second to bring it fully opaque. Below is two coats with topcoat.

Next is Prism Polish 'Drogon', a deep plum base with red and gold shifty micro flakes. The formula is smooth and easy to apply. To let the flakes show through, the base is slightly sheer. That being said, it easily builds up in two coats. Below is two coats with topcoat.

Lastly we have 'Ard As Nails 'Siberian Sunset', a yellow to peachy orange thermal with added holographic microglitters. The formula is very slightly on this thick side, but still very smooth and easy to apply. This wasn't quite there in two coats for me so I added a third. Below is three coats with topcoat in the cold state.

To compliment our three indie polishes, we also recieved a full size bottle of Glisten & Glow topcoat (previously called HK Girl). I do have a bottle of this that I'd been meaning to try, and this finally gave me the kick to do so. I used for the swatches above. It applies easily, dries nicely, is very glossy, and doesn't shrink or smudge.

Finishing June's box are a pair of nail art brushes from The Edge Nails, including both a fan brush and striper brush, and a sheet of tiger/zebra stripe nail vinyls from Caution Vinyls. You can never have enough nail art goodies, and I've already used both of these!

What do you think? I really loved the theme of June's box! It made me want to bring out all of my animal plates and really get stuck in with some nail art - some of which will be in my next post! I also appreciate an indie takeover as much as everyone else. As far as I'm aware, none of the polishes are MeeBox exclusives, so they should be available to purchase.

You can find out more about MeeBox and subscribing here.

Hope to see you in the next post!
