Road to Polish Con (Chicago 2017) - Part 2

Hello! I'm back continuining on with swatches of my picks from last fall's Road to Polish Con series. If you missed the first four polishes in part 1, you can find that post here. Today I have swatches of the next four. Read on for my full swatches of each and more info!

Road to Polish Con (Chicago 2017) - Part 2 @acertainbeccaa

Starting us off this time round are my purchases from week 7. Native War Paints 'Candied Apples' is a deep pink with a bright turquoise shimmer. The formula is super smooth and easy to apply, and the shimmer translates strongly to the nail. I could just about see my nail line at certain angles after a second coat, so added a quick third to make sure. Below is three coats with topcoat.

Painted Polish 'From the Pier, with Love' is a rich, bright blue holographic with added holographic microglitter and a pinky purple flash. It has a smooth, easy to apply formula. I did find this slightly sheer to begin with, but it built up well on my nails in three coats. Below is three coats with topcoat.

I did also purchase the Alter Ego from week 7, but unforunately that's the other one that was missing. Like the Ever After Polish, I'll swatch and post them when I recieve my replacements!

For week 8, I grabbed two of the three. Don Deeva 'Mag Money' is a rich green holographic with tiny holographic shard flakes. The formula is very smooth and easy to apply, and the flakes sit nicely on the nail. It has good coverage on the first coat, and is fully opaque after a second. Below is two coats with topcoat.

Nvr Enuff 'Step Right Up!' is a bright red jelly with a soft holographic running through, and lots of rainbow and shifty flakes. This has a really smooth, easy to apply formula. Being a jelly it is a bit sheer at first, although it did surprise me by building up to cover my nail line in two coats. I did add a third just to make sure. Below is three coats with topcoat.

What do you think? Again, I'm really happy with all four polishes! I don't think I could pick a favourite as I love each one for completely different reasons. I have three more road to polish con polishes to swatch for my next post, and I also believe the replacements from my order mix up should be on the way soon.

Hope to see you in the next post!
