Barry M - Crystal Rock Collection

*AD - Gifted*
Hello lovelies! Today I finally have my swatches of the Barry M Crystal Rock Collection. Crystal Rock is Barry M's newest take on textured polish. If you know me well, you'd know that I love a textured polish, so I was super excited when these were announced. Unfortunately, they happened to release during my 'baby break', so they have been waiting far too long to be shared - so let's not wait any longer! Read on for my full swatches and more info.

There are seven Crystal Rock polishes in total, all of which have very similar formulas. They are smooth and easy to apply, and aren't thick in any way (which I have found with other textured polishes in the past). All except the white are opaque in two quick coats. They dry down quickly to a matte, textured finish, and are easy to remove. Now onto my swatches!

'White Moonstone' is a sparkly white texture. This has surprisingly good coverage in two coats, but I do think it needs a third. Below is three coats without topcoat.

'Tiger Eye' is a sparkly bronze/nude texture. Below is two coats without topcoat.

'Coral Sunstone' is a bright coral orange texture with golden shimmer. My bottle of this had leaked ever so slightly, so had a touch thicker formula than the others, but I didn't find it affected application at all. Below is two coats without topcoat.

'Pink Tourmaline' is a hot pink texture with a gold shimmer. Below is two coats without topcoat.

'Red Jasper' is a rich sparkly red texture. This is the first one I actually wore, and I did add a third coat to see if it made a difference - it didn't! Below is three coats without topcoat.

'Fluorite' is a teal texture with sparkles of both blue and green. Below is two coats without topcoat.

'Purple Agate' is a deep brown-toned plum texture with pink and gold shimmer. Below is two coats with topcoat.

What do you think? I just absolutely love textured polishes, and these are no exception - plus they're so sparkly! If you aren't a fan of that textured finish you could always add a topcoat, but I personally think they're best worn without it. I don't think I ever managed to get my hands on all of the older Barry M textures in the end, so I'm glad to have these in my collection!

You can find the full Crystal Rock Collection on the Barry M website here. You can also find them on the Superdrug website here.

Hope to see you in the next post!
